She was predeceased by: her husband Ben J. Stearns; her son Melvin Ray Stearns; and her sisters, Roberta Clemmer and Mary Rose Hurst. She is survived by: her children, John Robert (Lou Ann Stearns) of Crossroads, NM and Beneta Haley of Sugarland, TX. She is also survived by six Grandchildren; eight Great-grandchildren and four Great-great-grandchildren.
