He was predeceased by: his father Sergio Rubio. He is survived by: his mother Patricia Rubio; his daughters, Durrani Lucero Rubio and Selene Belem Rubio; his siblings, Carlos Martinez (Micaella), Jose Ibanez and Angelica Martinez; his close friend Luis Magallanes; and his sister Lucero Rubio. He is also survived by 3 nephews, 1 niece and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.
