He was predeceased by: his parents, David Ramirez and Petra Perez. He is survived by: his wife Mercedes Ramirez; his children, Martel Ramirez Jr. (Patricia), Ramon Ramirez (Julia), David Ramirez (Lori), Arnold Ramirez (Ruston), Michael Ramirez (Vanessa), Alida Bermudez (Jesus), Margarita Piñon (Omar), Leticia Palacios (Daniel), Brenda Ramirez (Karla Baeza), Darlene Ramirez and Esmeralda De La O; and his siblings, Esteban, Rafael, Jesus, Javier, Agustin, David, Silvestre, Indalisa Zarate, Soyla Ramirez and Yesenia Paz. He is also survived by twenty-four grandchildren and thirteen great-grandchildren.
