He was predeceased by: his father William "Ben" Watson; his grandparents, Lottie, Raymond Parkinson, John Isaiah and Nancy Watson (Sharp); and his stepfather Carroll Dean.
He is survived by: his mother Doris Helen Watson (Parkinson) of Hobbs, NM; his wife Regina Watson; his daughters, Kristi (Jay Allen) of Tatum and Dana Watson (Mathew Johnson) of Tatum; his grandchildren, Kinley Allen, Jarett Allen and Jinsen Johnson; his siblings, Thylia (Ronnie Grant) of Athens, TX and Stan (Joani Watson) of Carlsbad, NM; and his stepbrothers, James (Ann Dean) of Hobbs, NM, Terry (Dama Dean) of Las Cruces, NM and Michael (Noel Dean). He is also survived by friends and extended family.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made to Mayo Clinic, Development Department, 13400 East Shea Blvd, Phoenix, AZ 85259.
