He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Parsons and Paula Parsons; and his siblings, Grace Lawery, Red, Alfred, Bill and Frank.
He is survived by: his wife Lillie Parsons; and his children, Robert Parsons (Angela), Cathy Parsons, Carla Parkinson, Christine Parsons and Darlene Parsons. He is also survived by three grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.
