He is survived by: his spouse Soledad Palacio; his children, Lupe Mendoza of Albuquerque, NM, Carlos (Rika) of Anthem, AZ, Manuel (Itzel) of San Antonio, TX, Julian of Gilbert, AZ, Ray (Karen) of Lubbock, TX, Joe David (Maria) of Kansas City, MO and Erik (Yolanda) of Las Cruces, NM; his grandson Macario Mendoza of Tatum; and his sister Herminia (Alfonso Castro) of Chihuahua.
