With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Priscilla Margret (Mama D) Durr (Taos, New Mexico), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 18, 2025 at the age of 79. As we bid farewell to this luminous soul, let her loved ones carry forward the torch of her memory, illuminating the path ahead with the warmth of her love and the brilliance of her spirit. Though Priscilla Margret may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Phil Gonzales and Didia Gonzales (Ernie Durr); and her siblings-in-law, Joe and Irene Durr. She is survived by: her brothers, Edward Gonzales and James Gonzales; her nieces and nephews, Jarad Durr (Marina McCartney) and Patrick Durr (Victoria Durr); her granddaughter Alyssa Durr; and also Oso. She is also survived by two great grandsons, many nephews and nieces.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rivera Family Funerals and Cremations-Santa Fe (417 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 30th 2025 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A memorial service will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, May 2nd 2025 from 2:30 PM to 3:30 PM at the National Cemetery Santa Fe (501 N Guadalupe St, Santa Fe, NM 87501).
