He was predeceased by: his father Pablo Valencia; his stepfather Antonio Aguilar; his grandparents, Eralia Padilla and Moises Herrera, Sr.; his uncles, Felix Martinez and Juan Padilla; his cousin Anthony Martinez; and his sister-in-law Kathleen Mondragon.
He is survived by: his wife Denise Mondragon; his sons, Richard and Brandon Valencia (Ashley); his grandsons, Brandon Jr. and Isaiah; his mother Maida Aguilar; his sisters, Marie Archuleta (Anthony) and Florence Brown (Eddie); his pet Marshmallow; his in-laws, Dennis and Priscilla Mondragon; his sister-in-law Melissa Trujillo (Tony); his uncle Moises; his aunt Gloria Herrera; his stepsisters, Sara Casias (Gabriel) and Ana Aguilar; his nieces, Ashley Brown, Hillary, Paula and Emma; and his close friends, Debbie Romero, Tomas, Lisa, Joe Muniz, Jerome Grant and Jacqueline. He is also survived by many other relatives and good friends.
