With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Melissa Renee Saiz (Taos, New Mexico), who passed away on June 11, 2024 at the age of 31. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother Mark Jr.; her grandparents, Max Tafoya and Valda Mascarenas (Pooky); and her aunt Elsa Mascarenas. She is survived by: her husband Matthew Saiz; her daughters, Mia, Maya and Milani; her pets, Max, Dixie, Brownie and Rocky; her parents, Mark Tafoya and Velma Tafoya; her aunt Dorothy Mascarenas; her mother-in-law Rita Garcia; her siblings, Matthew Tafoya (Melissa), Andrew Tafoya and Alexis Tafoya (Isaac); her nephews, Manuel, Joshua, Antonio and Michael; and her grandmother Rose. She is also survived by many uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends.
