He was predeceased by: his mother Evelyn Marie Gomez. He is survived by: his father Martin Gomez; his sons, Patrick Day and Joel Zapalac; and his sisters, Michelle Gilchrist, Sonia Gomez-Nieto and Candace Gomez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, uncles.
