She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwardo Tafoya and Marcelina Tafoya; her husband Juan Ramon Salazar; her sons, David and Mark Salazar; her grandson Levi Salazar; and her sisters, Estella Swiger and Elvira Vigil.
She is survived by: her children, Ramon Salazar (Cindy), Juan Salazar (Patsy), Patricia Salazar, Karen Salazar (John), Earl Salazar (Anna), James "Pimmie" Salazar (Cathy), Ron Salazar (Ricki), Dennis Salazar (Natalie), Bryan Salazar (Barbara) and Gerald Salazar (Niome); her sisters, Lorenza Ortega (Joe) and Rose Laporte (Mike); and her siblings-in-law, Teresa Gonzales and Wallace Salazar (Lula). She is also survived by 24 grandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, brothers.
