She was predeceased by: her parents, Manuel Aguilar and Roberta Aguilar of La Loma; and her siblings, Orlando, Theodore "Ted" (Lorraine), Manuel (Isabel), Leroy Aguilar and Emma Lucero (Abad).
She is survived by: her husband Joe B "JB" Martinez, Jr.; her children, Joanna M Martinez Romero-Valerio and Michael Patrick Martinez; her grandchildren, Joseph R. Martinez, Rebecca E. Romero-Huber (Ari) of Tomas, Valerio (Katherine) and Daniel Valerio; her great grandchildren, Audrey, Hunter Romero-Huber, Guillaume and Merriott Kilgore-Valerio; and her sister Lillian Aguilar Archuleta of Taos.
