It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of LeRoy R. Miera of Taos, New Mexico, born in Oakland, California, who passed away on December 11, 2024, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Filadelfio A. Miera and Esther Miera; and his siblings, Robert, Joseph and Pilar.
He is survived by: his wife Julie Martinez; his children, Greg (Beverly) and Allyn; his brothers, Paul (Kim), Joe and John (Linda); his grandchildren, Alicia (Lorenzo Sr.), Carlos, Daniela and Julianna; and his great grandchildren, Aliyah, Lorenzo and LisaMarie. He is also survived by relatives and friends.
Viewing will be held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Rivera Chapel (818 Paseo Del Pueblo Sur, Taos, NM 87571). A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, January 3rd 2025 at the Miera Family Cemetery.
