It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jose Mendizabal Garcia (Taos, New Mexico), born in Melrose Park, Illinois, who passed away on February 16, 2025, at the age of 59, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his stepson Timmy. He is survived by: his wife Sylvia; his sister Elda; his father Tony; and his stepchildren, Rueben, Patrick, Thomas and Joshua. He is also survived by his step-grandchildren and other extended family.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 11th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Rivera Family Funerals and Cremations-Santa Fe (417 Rodeo Rd, Santa Fe, NM 87505). A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the same location.
