He was predeceased by: his parents, Rudy Montoya and Dolores Jackson; his stepfather Roy Jackson; his brother-in-law Alex Maestas; his granddaughter Madaline Montoya; and his uncle Ivan Friday.
He is survived by: his children, Valerie (Matthew), Stephen and Christopher (Melanie); his grandchildren, Matthew Herson, Natasha, Stephen, Carlos, Jaykob, Antonio, Andres, Isaiah and Elijah; his siblings, Debbie Maestas, Anthony (Marlene), Joseph (Valerie) and Martin (Maria); and his stepmother Rubanna Montoya. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews and cousins.
