We are sad to announce that on March 17, 2023, at the age of 95, Helen Lou (Watson) Spencer of Taos, New Mexico, born in Beaumont, Texas passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, A. R. "Lon" Watson (Bill) and Lois Bishop Watson; her grandmother Jenny Lou Whitlock Bishop; her sister Ann Glidden; and her brother-in-law Jack of Houston.

She is survived by: her husband William L. "Bill" Spencer; her sons, Rick Spencer (Tammy) of Houston and Steve Spencer of Dallas; her foster son Darryl Pratt (Melissa) of Waco; her grandsons, Anthony, William Spencer of Dallas and Steve (Emily Spencer) of Houston; her great grandchild Elizabeth Brinkley (Jessy) of Fort Worth; her stepgranddaughter Shelby Kolmeier; her great grandchild Poppy Spencer of Houston; her nephew John Glidden of Houston; her niece Genevieve Davis; her great-nieces, Marley of Dallas and Lindsey Davis of Dallas; and also, Natasha Spencer of Dallas and Connie Spencer of Houston.
