He was predeceased by: his parents, Donilio Romero and Ermelina Romero; his son Randy; and his sisters, Simmie Romero Riggs and Katie Romero.
He is survived by: his wife Angie Quintana Romero; his children, Richard "Rick" (Bernadette) and Robyn Romero Cardenas (Vernon); his grandchildren, Manuel Cardenas, Angelica Cardenas and Alexandra Archuleta; his brother Juan Cruz Romero; and his siblings-in-law, Roy Quintana, Deacon Jerry Quintana (Florence), Clyde Quintana, David Quintana, Dale Quintana, Patricia Ortiz (Gilbert) and Marilyn Sanchez. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and over 20 godchildren.
In lieu of flowers, Gabe's family kindly requests donations to Scott's House, Community Hospice and Respite House—a sanctuary of solace, comfort, and compassionate care.
