She is survived by: her mother Zelda Geneva Franklin Malouff; her daughter Dr. Sherley J. Gonzales (George); her grandchildren, Elisha Andresana Gonzales and Secilia Violet-Louise Gonzales; her sisters, Colette Mylan (Butch) and Mary DePriest (Darrell); and her siblings-in-law, Teodoro Gonzales (Ruby), Mary Gonzales and Elizabeth Gonzales. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews, cousins and friends.

“In loving memory of Ellen Gonzales, With deepest sympathies. I am lighting this candle on behalf of my mom Lorene (Franklin) Tourney. She has many fond memories about her cousin Louise from when they were growing up near La Jara. They lived just down the road from each other. They climbed trees, played hide and go seek and played tag. Mom would like to be there to tell Louise goodbye but is unable to do so. Hopefully some day they will see each other again.”
