It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Dora Chavez of Taos, New Mexico, who passed away on October 1, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her father Esmael "Agapito" Valerio; and her brother Allen. She is survived by: her mother Julia Valerio of Taos; her husband Harry Chavez; her children, Cheryl (Bernardo), Karen (Gilbert) and Jason (Miquela); and her brother Johnny (Christine). She is also survived by nine grandchildren.
