With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Alex Vargas (Taos, New Mexico), born in Chimayo, New Mexico, who passed away on January 3, 2023 at the age of 84. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alex Vargas to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Eulogio Vargas and Salome Vargas; and his siblings, Richard Vargas, Rudy Vargas and Bernie Martinez.
He is survived by: his wife Corrine; his children, Sam Vargas (Elaine), Mary Frances Sanchez (Daniel), Barbara Vargas (Tom Place) and John Vargas (Chris Martinez); and his brothers, Tony Vargas (Julia) and Eulogio (Celina). He is also survived by nine grandchildren; and nineteen greatgrandchildren.
