He was predeceased by: his wife Phyllis Mae Phillips; his mother Phyllis; his siblings, Samuel, Orman, Margaret and Wanda; and his brother-in-law George Walden.
He is survived by: his children, Ronald Ray Corvin (Paula), H. Chris Corvin (Cindie), Wanda Kay Corvin, Wretha May Strode and Wynetta Gay Nichols (Allen); and his sister Lois Walden. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren.
