She was predeceased by: her parents, Durward Sims and Elizabeth Sims (Hardway); her husband Edward C. Farmer (Ned); and her sons, Edward Farmer (Ted) and Scott Farmer.
She is survived by: her daughter Joy Matlack; her son-in-law Richard Whited of Springer; her friends, Velma Crawford, Laura Danielson and Penny Jump of Springer; her niece Faye Farmer Reynolds; her nephew Michael Farmer; and her aunt Dixie Sims.
Gail supported her community wherever she could make a contribution.
