He was predeceased by: his mother Alice Confield; his stepfather Bill Confield; and his foster father Dick Wooten. He is survived by: his sister Alice (Rick Fortenbury) of Albuquerque, NM; his daughter Kimberly Kaplan of Raton; his stepsons, Jack Dodgen of Ohio and Dean Wyman of Texas; and his granddaughters, Bianca Dodgen, Shelby Kaplan, Jessica Kaplan and Nicole Kaplan. He is also survived by four grandsons.
