It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Virginia Soto of Socorro, New Mexico, who passed away on July 29, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Pelagio Lucero and Isidora Lucero (Castillo); her husband Arturo Soto; her grandsons, Francisco Luis and Kevin Gonzales; and her siblings, Josephina Peralta, Lorenzo Lucero, Julian Lucero and Manuel Lucero.
She is survived by: her daughters, Christina Torres and Henrietta Tafoya; her granddaughters, Jennifer Gonzales and Rebekah Tafoya; and her great grandchild Shanee Tafoya. She is also survived by many nephews and nieces.
