He was predeceased by: his parents, Ben Houston and Bonnie Houston (Barnes); his brother Allan Houston (late Cynthia); and his children, Deanna Lea Houston and Darrell Lloyd Houston.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Houston (Halderman); his daughter Debra Berkey; his son-in-law DeGraff Berkey; his grandsons, Houston and John; and his nephews, James Allan Houston and Spencer Houston.
