He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank McWhorter and Lola McWhorter (McKinley); his brother Mike McWhorter; his great-nephew Tomas Rosales Jr.; and his great-niece Reighlyn Rosales.

He is survived by: his sisters, Linda Rosales (Mario) and Cindy Curry (Alan); his niece LaRaya Preciado (Matt); and his nephews, Marty (Rolinda), Cecil (Bethany), Tommy Rosales, Catlin Curry (McChristie), Trampas (Amanda) and Kade (Kayla).
