She was predeceased by: her parents, Joe M. Santillanes and Crusita Santillanes; her in-laws, Lavro and Ramona Garcia; her brothers, Rocky Santillanes and Donato Santillanes; and her brother-in-law Joe Garcia.

She is survived by: her husband Julian; her children, Patricia (Rosabeth), Sandra (Rosemary) and Julian (Shaun); her grandchildren, Gabrielle Mendoza, Jaclynn Mendoza, Julian A. Garcia and John Garcia; her great grandchild Elias Padilla; her grandchildren, Rick and Connie Apache; her sisters, Polly Saiz and Isabel Padilla (Sam); and her sisters-in-law, Rosalie Martindale (Edward) and Marylou Barreras (Jerry).
