With solemn reverence, we commemorate Florencia Jaramillo (Socorro, New Mexico), whose life came to an end on April 11, 2025 at the age of 101, leaving behind cherished memories. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfredo Fernandez and Louisa Fernandez (Soto); her husband Juan Jaramillo; her siblings, Lilia Del Curto and Juan Fernández (Johnny); and her son-in-law Larry Cowan.
She is survived by: her daughters, Naomi Steele (Gene), Louisa Cowan, Grace Gutierrez (Rick) and Audrey Hawkes (Mike). She is also survived by 8 grandchildren; 16 great- grandchildren; 13 great-great-grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 10:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the San Miguel Catholic Church (403 El Camino Real St, Socorro, NM 87801). A rosary will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A Mass will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the San Antonio Cemetery. A reception will be held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM at the San Miguel Parish Hall.
