He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Andres Gallegos and Libradita Gallegos; his sisters, Gloria Thais and Nellie Cardiel; his wife Amada (Amy); his children, Dolores Haley (Joel), Dennis Gallegos (Tammie), Charles Gallegos (Michelle) and Melynda Martinez (Chris); and his sister-in-law Stella Piccinini (Bill). He was also cherished by four children; seven grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers, family has asked that donations be made to the Socorro Presbyterian Home Health and Hospice program in Dennis' honor.
