He was predeceased by: his mother Gloria Castillo; his grandparents, Rita Ortiz, Carmen Castillo, David Sanchez and Angel Castillo; and his aunts and uncles, Esther Guerrero, Mary Castillo, Carmen Strosser, Richard Castillo and Angel Castillo.

He is survived by: his father Ruben Castillo Sr.; his brother Frank Castillo (Perla); and his nephews, Franky Castillo Jr. and Daniel Castillo. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles, and cousins.
