Peggy Q. Gomez Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Peggy Q. Gomez of Silver City, New Mexico, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 29, 2024 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lazaro Quintanar and Gertrude Quintanar (Hernandez); her husband Ramon Gomez; and her siblings, Albert Quintanar, Alfred Quintanar, Neto Quintanar, Mayo Quintanar, Veronica Arias and Amelia Sandoval.
She is survived by: her children, Ray Gomez (Marlisa) of Albuquerque, NM, Mark Gomez (Catherine) of Silver City, NM and Carla Bustillos (Andrew) of Tijeras, NM; her grandchildren, Monica, Lorenzo, Christina (Jason Solberg), Mark Jr., Anna, Adriana, Andrew Jr., Alesandra and Ashley; and her great grandchildren, Teneal and Noelle. She is also survived by her numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapels (1 Fort Bayard Rd, Santa Clara, NM 88026). A rosary was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Church (420 W Market St, Silver City, NM 88061). A burial was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Cemetery (420 W Market St, Silver City, NM 88061).
