She was predeceased by: her parents, Rafael Grijalva and Carolina Marrujo Grijalva; her spouse Macario Chavez; and her daughter Patsy Sierra. She is survived by: her daughter Mary Ann Sedillo (Alfred Sedillo); her grandsons, Mack Trujillo, Leo Trujillo (Alexa) and James Trujillo (Krisann); her great grandchildren, Mackenzie, Brendan, Amaya (Israel), Ahlyia, Brayden and Marcus; and her siblings, Rodolfo Grijalva, Rafael Grijalva, Martin Grijalva, Celia Duran and Carolina Serna.
A memorial service was held on Monday, January 13th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapels (1 Fort Bayard Rd, Silver City, NM 88061).
