Yates of Silver City, New Mexico, born in San Diego, California, who passed away on February 13, 2021, at the age of 80, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Allan Yates; her parents, Milan J. Nellans and Mary Nellans; and her grandchildren, Kelly Little-Lundy and Sean Lundy.
She is survived by: her close friend El Refugio; her brothers, John Nellans (Gail) of El Cajon, CA and Patrick J. Nellans (Bonnie) of National City, CA; her children, Christine J. Lundy (Reyne Arsola) of Silver City, NM, Michael Little (Cathy) of Lake Providence, LA, Joanna Wilcox (Jay) of Levelland, TX and Steve Compton (Kim) of Las Vegas, NV; her grandchildren, Thomas Little, Brandi Petersdorff, Kyle Compton, Bre Compton, Trent Compton, Tanner Compton and Whitney Compton-Cassady; and her great grandchildren, Andrew J Little, Addison Petersdorff, Brysen Compton, Wesley Petersdorff, Cayden Compton, Sadie Petersdorff, Garrett Petersdorff and Emrea Montenegro.
