He was predeceased by: his parents, Pedro Velasquez and Maria Becerra Velasquez; his wife Sylvia Rose Velasquez; and his brother-in-law Peter Lawrence Turrieta. He is survived by: his children, Robert Velasquez (Melissa), Veronica Velasquez, Andrea Montgomery (Aaron) and Jessica Velasquez; his sister-in-law Denise Sierra (Ray); and his grandchildren, Brealle, Andrew, Janayah, Carlos, Jesus, Seth, Abigail, Vincent, Gage and Esmia. He is also survived by Numerous brothers, and sisters, nephews, nieces, and cousins.
