He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Hinrichs and Henrietta Hinrichs; his siblings, Henry Hinrichs, Mary Keller and Verna Mae Coldwell; and his brothers-in-law, Charles Keller and Howard Coldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Melba Hotchkiss; his children, Bruce Hinrichs (Cheryl) of Floyd, Denise McDaniel (Gary) of Lovington and Donna Monzingo (Jerry) of Silver City; his grandchildren, Kayla Hinrichs of Hobbs, Chelsea Hinrichs of Melrose, Kaycee Jones (Bryer) of Midland, Cooper McDaniel (Holly) of Lubbock, Justin Monzingo (Kyra) of Fort Sumner and Tyler Monzingo of Alpine, Texas; and his great grandchildren, Breyson and Stratton Jones of Midland.
