He was predeceased by: his parents, Leon Burnette and Glora Burnette (Woosley); his wife Sally Jane Burnette; and his brother Larry Burnette. He is survived by: his children, Jerry Burnette, Jr. (Karen) of Hurley, NM, Cheryl Garrett of Alamagordo, NM and Dana Gaffney of Jacksonville, FL; his grandchildren, Trey Burnette, Hannah Griffiths (Ryan), Hunter Burnette, Tyler Garrett, Cody Garrett, Jay Gaffney and Krystan Stevens (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Lili Garrett and Koki Gaffney. He is also survived by his numerous nieces and nephews.
