Esther Ida Morgan Obituary

We are sad to announce that on December 28, 2024, at the age of 71, Esther Ida Morgan of Silver City, New Mexico passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Walker and Barbara Lee; her brother Ralph Walker; and her nephew Reno Walker. She is survived by: her husband Gary Morgan; her children, Shawn Jameson (Michelle), Gary Bo Morgan (Kristen), Amber Wetzel (Shane) and Melissa Cordes (Josh); her grandchildren, Tyler Jameson (Mikki), Lauren Jameson, Alyssa Morgan, Alex Morgan, Owen Wetzel, Wyatt Wetzel, Hannah Hampton, Jessica Hampton and Morgan Smith; her great grandchild Braelyn; her sister Joyce O'Loughlin; and her nieces and nephews, Kelley Riddle (Donald Gonzalez), Amanda Stern (Jason), Vance O'Loughlin Bryan (Lurdes) and Preston Walker (Kendra). She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and cousins.

Visitation was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Terrazas Funeral Chapels (1 Fort Bayard Rd, Silver City, NM 88061). A funeral service was held on Monday, January 6th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
