She was predeceased by: her parents, Francisco Chavira and Leandra Chavira; her husband Samuel V. Flores; her siblings, Tomas, Louie, Andrea, Angie and Virginia; her daughter-in-law Elaine; and her grandchildren, Jeffrey and Kindra.

She is survived by: her children, Connie, Virginia, Ruben (Trina), Lorenzo (Larissa), Louie (Cammy), Tony, Joe, Ramon (Peri) and David (Sofia); and her stepson Sammy Jr. (Gina).
