With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Benavidez in Silver City, New Mexico, who passed away on December 4, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Carlos Rios and Paula Archuleta Rios; her siblings, Carlos A., Edmundo Rios and Lydia Avalos; her cousin Guillermo Rios (Memo); and her granddaughter Angelica Montoya.

She is survived by: her husband Roberto Benavidez; her children, Rene Benavidez (Alexis) of Henderson, Nevada, Sandra Montoya (Mike) and Rebecca Benavidez of Silver City; and her grandchildren, Rhyker, D'artanian Benavidez, Alex Lopez, Daviana and Anthony Montoya. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
