Barbara Turnage Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Turnage of Silver City, New Mexico, born in New Orleans, Louisiana, who passed away on September 21, 2022, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Gray and Ruth Gray (Armstead); her former husband George Pendleton (Ladd); and her siblings, John, Calvin, Charles Gray, Patricia Blanco and Jewell Burk.
She is survived by: her husband Don Turnage; her children, George Edwin Pendleton Jr. (Diane) of Wiley, CO and Jewell Eva Burns (Shad) of Red Rock, NM; her grandchildren, Jean Marie Gutierrez (Justin), Jeremy Michael (Kaweah), JoAnna Gardner, Wyatt, Grace, Claire, Cole and Luke Pendleton; her siblings, Edwin Gray (Cynthia) of New Orleans, LA and Betty Vicknair of Mississippi; her godsons, Jonathan, David, Daniel and Nathaniel Burk; and her caregiver Kim Linsley of Silver City. She is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers family is requesting donations be made to Southwestern Baptist Association of New Mexico PO Box 422 Santa Clara, NM 88026.
