He was predeceased by: his parents, Kee Benajamin and Rose Benajamin; his siblings, David Joe and Ilene Woods; and his son Daniel "Buddy" Benjamin.
He is survived by: his siblings, Jones Benjamin, Ramona Chavez and Helen Dodge; his children, Darnell Benjamin, Kyle Benjamin, Drew Benjamin, Tianey Yellowhair, Renee Shorty and Darreth Benjamin; his granddaughters, Tyrissa Benjamin, Willow Benjamin, Arial Manuelito, Kaiya Shorty, Myzel Shorty, Layal Shorty, Maleah Shorty, Ally Benajamin, Aubrey Benjamin and Gabrielle Benjamin; and his great grandchild Ohiyah Sumpter.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 31st 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Cope Memorial Chapel - Kirtland (458 Co Rd 6100, Kirtland, NM 87417). A funeral service was held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the First Wash Assembly of God Church.
