He was predeceased by: his parents, Moises Anaya and Adela Anaya (Tapia); his wife Cynthia Griffith; his siblings, Odela Gurule, Frocela Hidalgo, Herbert Anaya and Bob Anaya; and his granddaughter Gemina Amaro.
He is survived by: his children, James Anaya (Dawn) and Cindy Anaya; his grandchildren, Ashley Anaya, Daniel Amaro, Destiny Apodaca (Leon Weatherford) and Silviano Apodaca; his great grandchildren, Braelyn and Triztyn; and his siblings, Gilbert Anaya and Corrine Iacobellis. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
