He was predeceased by: his parents, Gonzalo Gutierrez and Donaciana Gutierrez (Lucero); his wife Teresita Baca; his daughter Veronica Gutierrez; his grandchildren, Denise, Jaelyn, Jayaire and Patrick; his daughters-in-law, Darlene Gutierrez and Bernice Gutierrez; and his siblings, Joe L. Gutierrez, Manuel D. Gutierrez, Carlos Gutierrez, Ramona Jiron, Mary Sisneros and Gene L. Gutierrez.
He is survived by: his children, Arcenio Gutierrez of Albuquerque, Isabel Saiz (Ruben), Diana Chavez (Patrick), Albert Gutierrez and Molly Andrada (Mario). He is also survived by 14 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren as well as numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 12th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Chavez Funeral Home - Santa Rosa (923 S 3rd St, Santa Rosa, NM 88435). A funeral service was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Catholic Church - Santa Rosa (439 S 3rd St, Santa Rosa, NM 88435). A burial was held on Thursday, March 13th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Joseph Cemetery - Santa Rosa (439 S 3rd St, Santa Rosa, NM 88435).
