It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Macedon Chavez of Santa Rosa, New Mexico, who passed away on December 12, 2023, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Isidoro Chavez and Sarita Chavez (Lerman); and his siblings, Guillermo Chavez, Arsenio Chavez (Archie), Marcelina Baca and Siria Lucero.

He is survived by: his sister Mary Lou Chavez Maestas (Tony) of Cuervo, NM. He is also survived by numerous nephews, nieces, family and friends.
