He is survived by: his wife Carolyn "Tonie" Chavez; his children, Loretta Chavez and Lorenzo "Larry" Chavez; his grandchildren, Jacob Chavez and Debra Chavez; his siblings, Mary Cordova, Celestino "Tino" Chavez, Joe Chavez, Frank Chavez, Diana Chavez and Florence Chavez; and his parents-in-law, Virginia Montoya, Hope Baca, Theresa Gomez, Eddie Armijo and Danny Armijo.
