With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bernie M. Sanchez (Santa Rosa, New Mexico), who passed away on November 15, 2020 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Jose V. Sanchez (Joe V.); her siblings, Catalina, Ventura, Robert Madrid and Helen; her brothers-in-law, Floyd Padilla and Billy Garnand; her son-in-law Joey Cave; and her granddaughter Naomi Romero.
She is survived by: her children, Ernest Sanchez (Julie) of Santa Rosa, Michael Sanchez (Lucille) of Sandia Park, David Sanchez (Sandy) of Santa Rosa, Roberta Ariaz of Corrales, Janice Cave of Santa Rosa, Christopher Sanchez, Steve Martinez of Albuquerque, Andrew Sanchez (Maxine) of Santa Rosa and Paul Sanchez (Leslie) of Santa Rosa; her sisters, Viola Garnand of Albuquerque, Prudy Aragon (Casey) of Albuquerque and Christine Martinez (Sam) of Santa Rosa; her grandchildren, Jordan, Noah Sanchez, Amber Miera, Aaron Martinez, Brian Sanchez (Laura), Loretta Sanchez (Daniel), Danielle Sanchez (Joseph), Aidyn Ariaz, Josh Cave (Billie), Johnathan Cave, Andrea, Miranda Sanchez, Chris Farinias Jr. (CJ) and Jaelyn Sanchez; her great grandchildren, Dezare, Layla, Joseph Jaro, Thiago Martinez, Mia Sanchez, Joey, Reece Cave, Kayla, Anthony, Ayla Cave, Andres Romero, Cris III, Adrian, Naomi Farinias and Baby Sanchez; and her grandchildren, Nathan Sanchez, Richie Sanchez and Stephen Sanchez.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, services will be reserved to immediate family, but we hope to have a large celebration of life when it is safe to do so. Due to the COVID-19 Pandemic Social Distancing guidelines, services will be private and limited to the immediate family.
