He is survived by: his wife Adriana Maya of Valdes; his daughter Yvonne Valdes (John LaVe); his daughter-in-law Cindy Valdes; his siblings, Tim Valdes (Donna), Kathy Valdes (Gloria), Jeri Gonzales and Pam Gonzales (Jerry); his grandchildren, Marley Valdes-Thomas (Jaydon), Shaun LaVe, Avery Valdes, Johnathan LaVe and Sebastian Lugo Veruette; his great grandchild Winsor Thomas; his stepchildren, Virginia Veruette Maya (Jaime), Karine Veruete Maya and Adrian Veruete Maya; his sister Dona Valdes; his siblings-in-law, Mollie Coriz (Ramon), Corrine Barela (Reyes) and Isidro Gonzales; and his great grandchild Echo Thomas.
