He is survived by: his son David Samuel Houston (Krystle); his wife Pat; his granddaughter Isabella of Santa Fe; his sister Jane Dury of Asheville; his stepson David Ellison; and his stepgrandsons, Jace and Marlow Ellison of Los Alamos. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
