It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert D. Miera (Santa Fe, New Mexico), born in Algodones, New Mexico, who passed away on February 17, 2022, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Del Miera and Gertrude Miera; his grandmother Mariana; and his children, Marilyn Emanuele (Charles) and Robert Miera.
He is survived by: his children, Michael Miera (Karmella), Michelle Miera, Martin Miera (Marlene), Lyndi Miller (Bob), Melissa Bash (John) and Mark Miera (Sonya); his grandchildren, Helen Emanuele, Aaron Miera (Shannon), Kimberly Miera (Clinton Nicley), Alisha Montoya (Michael), Ron Schneider, Megan Wood (Ben), Malerie Mabry (Brandon), Maren Smith (Eugene), Melissa Miera, Zachary Becker, Jack Miller, Brandon Bash (Eboni), Kyle Bash, Marcus Miera, Jennifer Miera and Luke Miera; his sister Melba Esparza (Orlando); and his sisters-in-law, Selene Luna, Nannie Jo Miera, Darlene Luna and Carmen Luna. He is also survived by great grandchildren and a great great grandchild.
