It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Nancy O Lewis (Santa Fe, New Mexico), born in Chicago, Illinois, who passed away on March 16, 2022, at the age of 77, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by: her husband Paul of Santa Fe; her brother Laurens (Nancy) of Santa Fe; her children, Charlotte of Newport, NC and Jonathan (Aurore) of Leiden, Netherlands; her granddaughters, Sarah of Onancock, VA and Taylor of Newport, NC; her great grandchild Oakley (Coon) of Onancock, VA; and her pet Madam Millie of Santa Fe. She is also survived by her family, friends.
In addition to her scholarly activities, Nancy served numerous organizations and committees including Santa Fe's Public Safety Committee, the Historical Society of New Mexico, and the Historic Santa Fe Foundation.
